My background in the beauty industry
My love for cosmetics and the runway started in 2004 when I became a recurring hair model for Paul Mitchell at the Midwest Beauty Show.
This ignited the pursuit of my dream to become a professional makeup artist. I became a licensed Esthetician in 2005 and shortly after started a 10 year career working as an artist for Mario Tricoci Salon and Day Spas in Chicago. In that time, I became a certified Xtreme lash stylist, a company educator on a multitude of professional skincare lines, and a platform artist. My work was featured on the side of the Wit hotel, billboards, and magazines. I serviced celebrities such as Stephen Baldwin, Claire Coffee, Cecily Strong, Dylan Lauren, was nominated for the Makeup Artist of the Year Award company wide (twice) and held position as the Makeup Department Manager for 6 years, most of them at our flagship location on 900 Michigan Ave. I left the salon at the top of my game to spread my wings and fly as an entrepreneur!
A leap of faith…In July of 2015 I left my career at the salon to become a business owner. I opened a lash and makeup studio called Uplift Beauty while working as a freelance makeup artist. In that time I focused mainly on bridal. I partnered with LimeLife by Alcone as the professional makeup line to offer my clients and it grew very quickly! I began partnering with women all across the U.S. helping them to create an additional stream of income and in the process gained my own financial stability which allowed me to transition into a full time working at home mom. What began as a side hustle turned into my main source of income. In two years, I became an Ambassador of Culture and a Senior Director (top rank), traveled and earned all expenses paid trips with my husband and educated as a speaker on company stages to grow not only my personal brand but the companies.

I now live in the suburbs of Asheville, NC. We bought our DREAM home overlooking the mountains in April of 2020. I have been able to retire my husband to raise our baby boys together at home. (Adrian 3 and Ahren 4 months old.) LimeLife helped me to pay off $60k of debt and create financial stability and has become a vehicle to my bigger God given purpose to help survivors of sexual trauma and trafficking! I have launched an online boutique called Worthy Girl Boutique which is a passion project combining my love for clothing, accessories and makeup with anti-trafficking partnerships! I spent my first summer as a new business owner freelancing on my first independent film called. Ginger.
I volunteered when I read the mission to spread awareness about Breast Cancer and quickly became the head makeup artist creating looks for the film and spending many 12 hour days on set.
This film was written and directed by husband and wife Melissa and Jimmy Boratyn sharing Melissa’s battle with metastatic breast cancer. Ginger was recently released on Netlix the same year Melissa passed away. Breast Cancer is super important to me because it runs in my family on both sides and it is a key factor in why I believe in our all natural, non-toxic and paraben free skincare.
